Types of hearing loss​

Sensori-neural– Most common –Sensory and neural cell in inner year affected. Reduces sound intensity, mostly irreversable, Hearing aids may benefit.​

Conductive hearing loss – mechanical –physical obstruction in inner ear –identifiable, treatable, hearing aids​

Mixed hearing loss - ​
What are the causes?​

Depends on type​

Sensori neural – loud noise exposure, illnesss, medicines,aging, genetics,tra uma, structural deformity​

Conductive –wax, fluid, infection, forign body, trauma ear drum, structural, tumours​
